Our mission
To give every child in our care a day so safe, warm and interesting that they want to come back tomorrow — and to give every parent the confidence that comes from knowing exactly what happened while they were away.
Our story
Tiny Cradle did not start with a business plan. It started with a question from working parents in Lawspet: where can we leave our baby and genuinely stop worrying?

Why we exist
By the time a child turns five, most of the wiring for language, emotional regulation and curiosity is already laid down. That work does not happen in a classroom. It happens in how quickly someone responds when they cry, how food is put in front of them, whether their day feels predictable.
Puducherry has no shortage of places that will keep a child safe for eight hours. What we found missing was somewhere that treats those eight hours as the most important part of a child's development — and that tells parents the truth about how they went.
So Tiny Cradle was designed backwards. We wrote the daily rhythm, the meal plan, the hygiene rota and the parent-update format before we finalised the space. Every room exists to serve the routine, not the other way around.

To give every child in our care a day so safe, warm and interesting that they want to come back tomorrow — and to give every parent the confidence that comes from knowing exactly what happened while they were away.
To become the centre Puducherry families recommend to each other without hesitation — known not for the biggest building, but for children who are visibly happy and parents who are genuinely informed.
What we stand on
A child who feels safe learns on their own. Comfort is the first thing we teach, and the first thing we measure.
No desks, no drilling. Play, music and stories do the work at this age — and they do it better.
You should never feel like you handed your child to strangers. Ask us anything, visit any time, know everything.
Tamil and English side by side, familiar food, local festivals. Your child grows up belonging.
How we got here
Tiny Cradle began as a simple question from working parents in Lawspet: where can we leave our baby and actually feel calm about it?
We chose a bright first-floor space on Lawspet Main Road — easy to reach, easy to secure, and full of daylight.
Our daily rhythm, meal plan, hygiene schedule and parent-update format were written before a single child walked in.
We welcome our founding families — a deliberately small first intake, so every child gets settled properly.
Who will care for your child
Every caregiver is police-verified, trained in paediatric first aid and assigned to the same small group of children each day — because a child settles with a person, not a policy.
